Congratulations on getting the Gladiator PC Desktop Theme! This desktop theme will work with Windows 95, 98 and NT when a desktop theme application is running such as Microsoft Plus! or Connectix. If you do not have desktop theme software running on your computer, then we recommend visiting Freethemes at http://www.freethemes.com or Themeworld at http://www.themeworld.com. Both sites have all the information you'll need to make use of this and thousands of other nifty desktops themes that are available, and they also provide links to free desktop theme software you can download. This package comes with all you'll need to make your desktop the pride of the Roman Empire. The "root" directory contains the *.theme files. There are 9 of them. The only difference between these 9 files is the wallpaper they utilize. There are 3 seperate wallpapers in 3 sizes, hence 9 files. Get it? The files are named gladiator1*, gladiator2* and gladiator3*. The names then have either _640 (for 480x640), _800 (for 600X800) and _1024 (for 720x1024). Just pick the file that correspondes to the setting for your computer. If you don't know your setting, click Start->Settings->Control Panel. From the Control Panel Window click on Display. Click on the "Settings" tab. It will tell you what your screen settings are, and you can also change them. All of the sound, image, icon and cursor files will be in a subdirectory called "gladiator". You can just leave them there. There are also 3 "logo" files. These are images that will display on startup and shutdown. The files are gladiator_logo.sys, gladiator_logow.sys and gladiator_logos.sys. If you wish to use these, simply rename them to logo.sys, logow.sys and logos.sys and move them to the root directory of your "C" drive. If you already have files called logo.sys, logow.sys and/or logos.sys you should rename or move them, or you will lose them. If you have any problems with this theme or any questions, contact the author by visiting http://www.dividedlight.com. Thanks!
